Are there times for residential construction in California?

I hope it's the correct section for this question. I live in a building apartments next to a house. This house was recently acquired and new residents began building replacement, it seems, most of the house. Every morning, 7 am sharp, the noise starts, and my bedroom windows are in the worst possible location for this situation. Often residence times late to finish the job, so waking up at 7 if you want to or not is depriving me of hours of sleep every day (and is so strong, it is impossible to sleep when working). But what can be done – needs to be done. So on Monday (when construction began) I was really looking forward to the weekend finally get to sleep. And now it's Saturday morning and I'm trying to figure out if they really have the right to wake up on Saturday at 7 am with the ear retching sounds of the chainsaw. Please tell me they can not. I mean, I understand the weekdays, but weekends?

Call the Department Building Inspection for this information. Most communities have restrictions on hours of operation of large-scale construction and reconstruction. Most likely it will be able to start work at 7 am or maybe 8 am during the week and one or two hours later on Saturday. You have a good chance completely closing Sunday.
