I have 2 vinyl replacement windows but it seems that the heat is escaping between the windows where the locks are. Is there anyway to tighten that seal? I can see the condensation ont he top window just above where the 2 connect.
I just put some strips on, and opened up the window to clear off the condensation to see if it would come back, well come to find out it is on the inside of the outer pain of glass. Does that mean I have to replace it, or can it be resealed?

I have old aluminum windows with bad condensation, I want to replace them but I have heard that once the old windows are taken out that air and moisture gets within the walls creating mold. I already have a mold problem around the window because of the condensation. Any ideas? And is this true?
