replacement windows
Brad asked:

I need something that will sync the files on my Sansa Clip correctly like Windows Media Player did on windows. I’ve used media players for Ubuntu like Rhythmbox and Armarok but they always put half the songs in the ‘Unknown’ section. Is there a program that will read the metadata on music files and sync it to portable devices just like Windows Media Player does? Or is running Windows Media Player on WinE my best option?

if these files are .wma format, linux has a hard time reading the meta data. You could use a program to convert your .wma into .mp3 or something if thats the case. If it isn’t there is a pretty handy little meta tag editing program that works well, from a terminal type
sudo apt-get install tagtool
