I’ve been told that lemon Pledge will help my windows glide more easily. Since Pledge is originally for wood, will it discolor the vinyl? It is white and only installed a few months ago so I don’t want to ruin the color or texture.

Also, I was thinking of using it on my sliding glass patio door instead of WD40 (to make it glide smoother). Will it be damaging to metal?

Anything good or bad effects would also be appreciated.
