I have old aluminum windows with bad condensation, I want to replace them but I have heard that once the old windows are taken out that air and moisture gets within the walls creating mold. I already have a mold problem around the window because of the condensation. Any ideas? And is this true?

The windows to shed the window and come down even with the water and should go up several inches above.
