Do I need structural steel / metal in a replacement window vinyl?
We are preparing to replace aluminum windows existing. Two different companies told us that it is better to have a vinyl replacement window which has a steel structure structure where the vinyl can not buckle with time (ie World Polybau window). Is it really necessary to have this metal structure allows the structure or function of the size of the window? We have a window wide, 120 inches wide x 60 "height'd think it is very important the long term. If recommended, can anyone recommend other brands with large NFRC ratings that have a metal frame structure with Vinyl Windows plus two that I mentioned? I'm in northern California, so please take account of available brands. Thank you very much! One thing not mentioned, I am not referring to the spacing between the panes of glass, but the definition of real vinyl. Thank you again. Someone can tell me why this is not important if you say no?
